Jute
Jute is a long, soft, glossy, plant-based fiber that can be spun into coarse, strong threads. It is derived from plants of the genus Corchorus, which mainly grow in warm, humid regions such as India, Bangladesh, and China. Jute is one of the most affordable natural fibers. The fibers consist primarily of cellulose and lignin. No official breaking strength is provided for these soft natural fibers.
Braided jute rope is fairly soft and flexible, while the twisted version is quite stiff but becomes more supple with use.
We supply both twisted and braided jute rope in diameters of 6 and 8 mm.
The rope ends are finished to prevent fraying.
This jute rope is untreated.
Prices include VAT but exclude shipping costs. The rope is custom-made for you after ordering and is therefore considered a custom product, which excludes it from the right of withdrawal.
