Synthetic rope

Synthetic ropes are gaining popularity in shibari. They come in bright colors, are easy to maintain, and have high breaking strength. Ideal for visual work or workshops. However, they require experience: their smooth surface increases the risk of rope burns, and knots hold less securely compared to jute or hemp.

Perfect for creative and hygienic uses, but less suitable for suspensions. Choose wisely, play safely.

The biggest advantages of synthetic ropes are that they are inherently water-resistant and soft, making them excellent for beginners who want to practice a lot.

We supply hollow braided synthetic ropes in 2 variants:

• Twisted black, in 6 and 8 mm thickness

• Hollow braided black, 6 mm thickness

• Hollow braided red, 10 mm thickness

Our ropes are available in lengths of 2, 4, 8, 10, 12, 15, and 20 meters. These are the most common lengths used in shibari.

The rope ends are finished to prevent fraying.
